Kilcreggan is a village in Argyll and Bute, Scotland. It is situated on the River Clyde at the mouth of Loch Long, between the villages of Cove and Rosneath.

Get in[edit]

By road[edit]

Kilcreggan is about 16 miles from Helensburgh, and about 40 miles from Glasgow.

By bus[edit]

There are buses hourly on weekdays from Helensburgh (Garelochhead Coaches 316 [1]). At Helensburgh there are buses and trains from Glasgow.

By ferry[edit]

Passenger ferries [2] connect Kilcreggan with Gourock. There are 15 ferries per day on weekdays, 11 on Sat and 3 on Sun.

By train[edit]

The nearest stations are Garelochhead on the West Highland Railway (about 5 trains per day) and Helensburgh (2 trains per hour) by road. The train station in Gourock is accessible by ferry.
