Kahala is a small town on the island of Oahu, Hawaii.

Kahala is a 20-30 minute drive from downtown Honolulu and about an hour from Honolulu International Airport.

Local buses are cheap and plentiful. The main bus terminal is at the Kahala Mall

While it can be pleasant to walk along the beach and through the neighborhoods, you'll need a car to really get around.
