Jamaica is a village in Vermont. It is a great place to stay when going to Stratton ski resort. Jamaica is located at the bottom of the mountain, and has its own access road up the mountain.

• Horses For Hire, [2]. Horse back with a mountain view. The proprietor is not a people-person, so make sure you come with your checkbook or cash, she doesn't take credit cards. Her assistant makes up for her blunt manner. The website isn't updated so much sure you get the address from owner.  edit

• Jamaica State Park, [4]. Camp out. It has a swimming hole located in the park and is wonderfully refreshing in the summer. You can also tube there if the weather permits it.  edit
