Jallo National Park is near Lahore in Pakistan, on the road to the Indian border point of Wagah

History[edit]

It was developed in the 1980s for an open forest like park. It has its own zoo, a lake and many playing fields.

Landscape[edit]

Mostly open with tree area with open and large spaces for animal and birds within the zoo.

Get in[edit]

By bus or taxi from Lahore. Local trains used to run in the past.

It is popular with young people

Entry ticket for adult and children.

Get around[edit]

Cars are allowed within the park. You can drive or stroll on foot if you like.

  • Mohsin. The Park is situated 28 Kms from Lahore. It can be visited by road or rail. A rail-car leaves for Jallo at the Lahore Railway Station every half an hour  edit
