Itu is in the state of São Paulo, Brazil.

Its population of 150.000 is increased by almost 80.000 on weekends, as people from other cities move into their weekend homes in Itu. It's a nice cosy place that appeals to different kinds of tourists.

Brazilian history passes through this city. The pioneers (Bandeirantes), the farms (coffee and sugar), the Republic (had strong supporters there), first digital money in Brazil and many others.
