Get around[edit]

Incline Beach located on Lakeshore Drive between Village Blvd and Country Club Drive offers one of the most beautiful views found anywhere at Lake Tahoe. Along with picnic tables, barbecues and chaise lounges (provided at no charge by the friendly staff) you'll find a kids playground, sand volleyball courts, concession stand and a roped off swimming area.

Since all the beaches in Incline Village are private and accessible only to residents and lodging guests, you'll need to finagle a guest pass to use the beach. If you don't have friends or relatives who own property in Incline Village that can give you a beach pass, stop by Lakeshore Realty and ask for Don Kanare. He usually keeps an extra beach pass handy that you can borrow to enjoy a day on the beach.

  • Diamond Peak Ski Resort, 1210 Ski Way (from Country Club drive turn on to Ski way follow to end), 775-832-1177, [1]. 9AM-4PM. A family friendly ski resort with great views of Lake Tahoe. This is the perfect place to learn how to ski or snowboard.  edit

  • Hyatt High Sierra Lodge, 989 Incline Way, +1 775 832-0220, [2]. This is a "Hyatt Vacation Club Resort," which is the fanciest of the fancy; you get a 2-bedroom condo with its own balcony, a fireplace and a whirlpool spa. $350.  edit
  • Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino, 111 Country Club Drive, [3]. Located on Lake Tahoe's north shore with 500 feet of private lakefront beach.  edit
