There are no airport with scheduled flights in Hedmark. The closest option is Oslo airport.

By rail[edit]

The Oslo-Lillehammer-Trondheim-line, the Oslo-Røros-Trondheim-line and the Oslo-Stockholm-line passes trough Hedmark.

The long-distance coach operator Nor-Way Bussekspress operates extensively throughout the county, serving Østerdalen valley, Trysil and other destinations. From Oslo, Timeekspressen operates to Elverum.
