[edit] Get in

[edit] By taxi

You will find the city information on the main page. One important note when travelling in the outer city is that there is a 50% surcharge when the travel distance is over 35km. Toll roads and bridges are almost unavoidable when travelling to these areas. The tolls will be added to your taxi fares.

[edit] By subway

Subway lines 3 and 4 are useful for reaching Panyu and Huadu. Line 3 runs from Tianhe District to Panyu, terminating at Panyu Square in the middle of Panyu City and can also be used to reach the Chimelong Paradise Amusement Park by getting off at Hanxi Changlong Station and then taking the free shuttle bus from outside the station. Line 4 is a mostly elevated light-rail line starting at Wanshangwei (in Panyu District) at the end of line 2, serving many towns and villages in southern Panyu and Huadu Districts including the University City (Higher Education Megacentre North and South Stations), Shiqi and Huangge, ending at Jinzhou. Many stations on Line 4 are quite far from their respective towns but motorcycle taxis will conveniently wait outside the stations. Fares from Guangzhou to Panyu Square are ¥6-8 and to Huadu District are ¥8-12. Note that Line 4 stops running at 9PM.
