The Great Northern Highway is in Western Australia and runs from Perth in the south to Wyndham in the north.

[edit] Understand

[edit] Prepare

The Great Northern Highway passes through desert so you should take plenty of water and fuel with you on your trip. You should take food with you too, because there are not many stops on the way.

[edit] Get in

You can get onto the highway from Perth on the south end and from Whyndham on the north end

[edit] Go/Walk/Drive/...

[edit] Stay safe

Most of the route passes through the outback, so you should take lots of water and fuel with you, there can also be animals on the road, so do not drive at night. The Great Northern Highway is in Australia so you will be driving on the left, see Driving in Australia for more information.

[edit] Get out

This itinerary is an outline and needs more content. It has a template, but there is not enough information present for it to be of real use. It was last edited on 2012-06-14 and will be deleted if not modified for one year. Please plunge forward and rescue it!
