From London by train. From London bridge, london waterloo east, london cannon street or london charing cross you can get a south eastern train direct to Gravesend. The journey takes about 50 minutes.

If you happen to be in Gravesend during the month of July, you may be lucky enough to meet local character 'benzo' in the George, during an annual drinking festival.
