Grantham is on the main north-south line between London and Edinburgh. Various companies operate services. From London King's Cross, Hull Trains are both the cheapest and fastest at the moment with a 1 hour non-stop train for GBP25 one way.

A second line also runs east-west and connects Grantham to Nottingham.
