Grand Portage is an Indian Reservation in the far northeast corner of Minnesota, on the shore of Lake Superior and the border of Ontario, Canada.

Grand Portage National Monument [1] is a trail used by fur traders in 1802 to transport their settlement (including 18 buildings) from the Lake Superior shore to the Pigeon River, to get out of U.S. territory. It is now administered by the U.S. National Park Service.
