Grand Beach Provincial Park
Grand Beach is in Eastern Manitoba.
Grand Beach is a Provincial Park along the shore of Lake Winnipeg in Manitoba.
The park was established in 1961 on the site of a former resort. It was popular in the "Grand Old Days" before the highways, when the railroad was the main transportation to the resort.
Flora and fauna
Grand Beach is considered to be one of the best beaches in North America.
There is a a huge campground with around 350 sites toward the east end of the park. The campground has very wooded sites. There are both electric and non-electric sites.
