Goodmayes

Goodmayes is east of Ilford and west of Romford. It is in the London Borough of Redbridge on the border between London and Essex. It is 25 minute train journey from London Liverpool Street. It is a great area for really good cheap Indian/Pakistani food. EG a chicken curry is about 4-5 pounds and one restaurant called Prime Curry you can get four naan bread for a pound! Near to the train station on Green Lane there is a great pub called Lord Napier... it has karaoke on Saturday nights and the drinks are very competitively priced.
