Gásadalur is a village in Vágar.

It is connected to Bøur by the latest road tunnel (as of August 2008) to be built in the Faroe Islands.

The village itself is tiny but there is considerable scope for walking.

Look back to the mouth of the tunnel. Go beyond the road end to watch puffins. Look to sea for the closest mainland view of Mykines and for the tiny but extremely shapely island of Tindholmur and the nearby stacks.
