Fueda park is located in Kanagawa prefecture, Japan. It is the only primary athletic park at Kamakura city. The characteristics of the park are that it is located at high spot and very large.
As this park is located at the high spot, we can enjoy seeing nice views such as Mt.Fuji which is the highest mountain in Japan and the sea.
Flora and fauna
Take the Yokosuka line from Tokyo to Kamakura.(60min) Then, take the Keihinkyuko bus from Kamakura station to Fueda.(15min)
We can lend some sporting goods. A soccer ball, a basketball a teniss racket cost 100 yen per 2 hours. 4 Gloves, 2 bats and 4 balls cost 3000 yen per 2 hours including the field charge.
In the park, there are a baseball field, 4 teniss courts and a large multipurpose field. We can play many sports. Also, many people enjoy walking, jogging or riding around the park seeing the nice scenery.
There is a famous restaurant near the park. It is "Raitei". We can eat soba at the restaurant. Soba is one of the Jaoanese food and it is a kind of noodle made of buckwheat. We eat soba with a soy-based dip. The cost is higher than other restaurants, but it is delicious. Also, there is a famous French restaurant "Kamakurayama Roasted beef". This restaurant is famous for its roasted beef. It's very fashionable, so we must not wear rough clothes like jeans or short pants. Reservation is always needed and the cost is high at this restaurant. 10 minutes walk from "Kamakurayama Roasted beef", there is a cafe named "Horutohausu Husako". The cheese cakes are very popular, but if you take out the cake, it takes 5 thousand yen to buy a hall cake.
This park doesn't allow people to lodge.
At night, sometimes some foxes or raccoons appeared, so be careful of such wild animals.
