Frankston is a city in Victoria, Australia.

Frankston is a town about 40km from Melbourne on the edge of Port Phillip Bay. Although no longer a major tourist destination Frankston is where the electric train line terminates, so if you are a backpacker heading for the Mornington Peninsula, French Island or Phillip Island chances are your going to go through Frankston. It has a beautiful beach and many restaurants, bars and shops.

Frankston is home to the Festival of Lights in late November, Frankston's Waterfront Festival in January and Ventana Fiesta, a Latin American, Portuguese and Spanish festival in March. Not to mention Pets Day Out in November.

Frankston is connected by train line from Melbourne and Stony Point. There are also buses from Tullamarine airport.
