Foxborough is a town in Norfolk County, Massachusetts. Foxborough is located about 22 miles southwest of Boston, Massachusetts and 18 miles northeast of Providence, Rhode Island. The town has a total area of 20.9 square miles. Settled in 1704 by James Fox, Foxborough was once home to the world's largest straw-hat factory. Now, Foxborough is home to Gillette Stadium, sports venue of the three-time Super Bowl Champions, the New England Patriots.
Interstate 95 and US Route 1 both pass through Foxborough. Visitors can travel I-95 Southbound to exit 9, bringing them to Route 1 South Foxborough. Travelers can also take I-495 to exit 6, bringing them to the center of town.
Commercial flyers can fly into T.F. Green in Warwick, Rhode Island or Logan International Airport in Boston.
The MBTA runs trains from South Station in Boston and the Providence station to Foxborough for special events at Gillette Stadium. These include all Patriots games, concerts, and Revolution soccer games. For those that arrive on a non-special occasion day, visitors can take the MBTA to the Mansfield station and take a taxi to Foxborough upon arrival. Mansfield is the town next to Foxborough, and the commuter rail to Mansfield from Boston costs $9.25 if tickets are bought before boarding the train.
The best way to explore Foxborough is by car. There are several car rental and taxi services throughout town.

The trail also features a 32-acre cranberry bog and visitors can learn about the life cycle of a cranberry and facts about the bog.

Call a taxi to take you to the Mansfield Station. This train can take you directly to Providence and Boston. The MBTA also offers two-way trips to New York, Maryland, etc. You can take the train to a station near your hometown or to an airport.
T.F. Green Airport in Warwick, Rhode Island and Logan Airport in Boston are the two closest airports. You can take the Mansfield Station to either Providence or Boston. When you arrive in Boston, you can either take a bus or a cab to Logan airport. After arriving in Providence, you can take the RIPTA (Rhode Island Public Transit Authority) or a taxi to T.F. Green.
