Ford is a village in Northumberland. perhaps because it sounds like a river crossing, it is often referred to as Ford Village and it shares a website with the neighbouring village of Etal.

- Lady Waterford Art Gallery in what was once the village school. Lady Louisa Waterford, who seems to have been ahead of her later 19th century times in her attitudes, did a lot of painting locally, getting in local residents as models for biblical works.
There is also a splendid plant nursery in the Victorian walled garden of the old castle. [1]
