Fayetteville is a small town about an hour away from Atlanta, in the city's Metro Area. Formerly quite rural, it has lately become more suburban with the rise of shopping chains such as Lowe's and JC Penney's, and housing sub-development neighborhoods.

Fayetteville can be Reached by car from the Atlanta airport, about thirty minutes away. Unfortunately, you cannot reach the city by bus.

There are plenty of things to do. Almost every month the small city's town sqaure has a type of celebration, like July Jam in July, which usually lasts about a week, or maybe the Taste of Fayette which is held in May.

There are many places to sleep in Fayetteville, most easily to spot a Hampton Inn and a Holiday Express inn, both should be quite comfortable.
