Esterillos

Esterillos is located about 20 minutes from the town of Jaco. This beach is separated into Esterillos Este and Estrillos Oeste (East & West). On the far North end there is a small fishing community near the rocky point and on the Southern end you'll find the main estuary, after which the beach is named after is found.
Esterillos is still very underdeveloped which makes it a quiet and relaxing place to get away from it all. There are good surf spots along the beach although most people seem to prefer the Oeste side. The 'Oeste' side is also called Bejuco by locals.
There is no night life in Esterillos so generally the best bet is to drive to Jaco.
