Guyanese Coastal Plain
Earth : South America : Guyana : Guyanese Coastal Plain
Guyanese Coastal Plain is a region of Guyana. It is home to the vast majority of the population and is interrupted by several major rivers.
Since the capital Georgetown is in the middle of this region, it's likely that most people will enter the country through this area. One exception is people coming up from the south and Brazil, who will access the area north of Linden.
The region is served by a series of roads and rivers. There are paved roads running from Charity to the border with Suriname at Corriverton, although the Essequibo must be traversed by ferry or speedboat. North of Charity, the only way around is on the water.
