The Engadine is in Switzerland, in the canton Graubunden.

The main language is Swiss German in the Upper Engadine and Romansh in the Lower Engadine. Swiss-German is the lingua franca while Standard German is taught in schools, so Romansh-speakers usually speak all three. English is also useful.
