  • Pavlovsky Posad — a former merchant town, home to the Pokrovsko-Vasilevsky Monastery and several churches
  • Vereya — inside this small historic village's kremlin is a 16th century Cathedral of the Nativity, erected in honor of the Russian conquest of Kazan
  • Zhukovsky — this city is home to one of Russia's premiere flight research institutes
  • Zheleznodorozhny — as its name would suggest, a railway city
