Dunsborough is a town in Western Australia.

Get in[edit]

Many people who live in Perth drive to Dunsborough by car. With the recent Freeway extension, the trip takes approximately 3 hours.

Get around[edit]

There are no trains or transports like that so car is the way to go.

See[edit][add listing]

The beaches are lovely and are probably the main attractions in the region.

West of Dunsborough along Caves Road is a cave named Nglili Cave. It is probably one of the deepest in the region and has many wonderful features. Weddings are sometimes held there. The lighthouse in the west is also very popular.

Do[edit][add listing]

You can go fishing, surfing, swimming, driving around, visit wineries etc...

Buy[edit][add listing]

Dunsborough is home to one of the most famous bakerys in WA. The pies are delicious there.

Eat[edit][add listing]

For a small tourism oriented town, Dunsborough falls short in a choice a restaurants. There are quite a few take-away places and cafes open during the day. At night, there is a small outdoor food area next to the pub, with a pizza place, a Thai take-away and a burger take-away place all next to each other.

Drink[edit][add listing]

Dunsborough has a pub. There is a bar called Malt, selling a variety of beers, wines, and food on the beach road.

Sleep[edit][add listing]

There are many motels/hotels/resorts. Beachside resorts are especially popular.

  • Quay West Resort Bunker Bay, Bunker Bay Road, off Cape Naturaliste Road, +61 8 9756 9100, [1]. Luxury Margaret River accommodation set in the premium Margaret River Wine Region. Quay West Resort Bunker Bay is the ideal location to relax while discovering wineries, art galleries and world class dining.  edit

Stay safe[edit]

Dunsborough is very safe just like the other towns in this area. Around times where school leavers come down here you might want to avoid them as some might be drunk but most don't cause any problem.

Get out[edit]

You can continue driving down south more and you will reach Margaret River, Augusta and many other small towns in that region. Wineries are probably the most popular places to go to down there.
