Dhawalagiri is a zone in Nepal and is named after the 8,091m Dhawalagiri or Dhaulagiri peak.
The zone is located in what travellers know as the Annapurna region which it shares with Gandaki zone to the east. The popular treks such as the one along the Kali Gandaki River valley and the Jomsom-Muktinath Trek are located in the zone. Both of treks are part of the Annapurna Circuit. The isolated and access-controlled Upper Mustang area is also located within this zone.
