Situated between Sagar and Jabalpur highway. You can enter Damoh by train, between Sagour and Katni Station. There are direct trains from New Delhi, Kolkata, Bhopal, Haridwar, Vishakhapatnam, Varanasi, Jammu, Amritsar, Ahmedabad, Bina and Jaipur. A daily shuttle runs between Kota and Damoh. The town is also well connected by intercity buses. Nearest Airport is located at a distance of about 125 kilometers in Jabalpur.
Cycle rickshaws are the most popular mode for local transport. Three wheeler scooter rickshaws are also available. The town is quite small and one would really enjoy walking from one point to another. If you need to venture out of the city to a tourist spot then best option would be to rent a car from any of the local taxi stands.
Jata Shankar: It’s a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is situated on a hillock on the periphery of Damoh city. It houses the icons of Lord Shiva, the destroyer In Hindu mythology . Peaceful environment and scenic beauty around the temple attracts a lot of visitors. This structure has invaluable Archaeological importance. Temple organises a grand mela (fair) on the occasion of Shiva Ratri.
Badi Devi: This is an ancient temple of Goddess.
Deewan ji ki Talaiyya: This is an ancient lake surrounded by beautiful stone architecture. This spot needs immediate attention to check the decay caused due to encroachments.
Bela Tal: This a lake side picnic spot popular with the locals. There is lake, a park and a small pavilion surrounded by water.
Museum: Officially known as 'Puratatva Sangrahalaya', it houses several articles of archaeological value.
'Lakshman: A famous Temple of Lord Hanuman. It is located at a distance of about seven kilometers from the town.
Bandakpur: It is a temple dedicated to Jageshwarnath Shiva. It is a very popular place of pilgrimage. Located at about ten kilometers from Town, it attracts thousands of visitors. There is a railway station near the temple. Several buses also run between town and the temple.
Most of the hotels in Damoh are located near Clock Tower and Railway Station.
These include, Hotel Indraplace, Hotel Rambhog, Hotel Satkar, Hotel Maharaja Palace and Gupta Lodge.
Bagdari waterfall and Shree Koni ji temples are situated at 16 Kms. from Tendukheda and around 65 Kms. from Damoh at Damoh Jabalpur State Highway. Nauradehi Abhyaranya- You can see many jungle spots and wild animals at Nauradehi abhyaranya. Nauradehi Abhyaranya 25 Kms. from Tendukheda to Sagar Road. Kundalpur This is the very big teerthkshetra of Jain temples, There are around 65 old temples at hills of Kundalpur. Shree Bade baba murti is very beautiful in bade baba mandir. Shree Bade baba mandir is under construction.
