Cricklade is beautiful town on the edge of the Cotswolds in Wiltshire.

Cricklade is a small town of about 4,000 people in north Wiltshire, very close to the border with Gloucestershire. It is roughly halfway between Swindon and Cirencester. Its North Meadow has roughly 90% of the UK's snakeshead fritillary flowers

There are many good pubs in Cricklade, such as the White Hart, the Red Lion or the Vale Inn. There are also several Indian restaurants, a Turkish kebab shop, a Chinese, a Thai and a typical British 'greasy spoon' café in Stacey's.
