Buy at the new shopping center Gateway Center, which have numerous of retail stores. Althought, not all the stores are open yet;however, it's one of the best places to shop in Compton and safest place in Compton. Only alone this shopping center has 4 police officers patroling the shopping center.

This town has many parts which are highly dangerous as well parts that are friendly. North Compton is dangerous. The best part of Compton is South Compton. Although South Compton is not a district or an area of Compton, but the South Side of Compton is best known for its houses with no iron windows nor with that many active gangs or apartments, like in the north side of Compton.
