Tour the Saguenay Fjord. But while interesting tours are available from Chicoutimi, it may be better to start your tour in Tadoussac, as the fjord is some ways down the river from Chicoutimi and whale-watching is also possible at the confluence of the Saguenay and St. Lawrence at Tadoussac.

Much of it higher alcohol percentage and the prices are good. Ask for a Tour and you'll get a sampling of what is on tap (7 or 8 beers usually) held in a wooden tower. Known for its Tour-Menthe a beer made with Mint and Blueberries.
