Central Montenegro is a region in Montenegro. It is centered around the capital Podgorica.

  • Podgorica — the capital and biggest city in Montenegro, experiencing a huge architectural boom in the last couple of years
  • Cetinje — the old royal capital of Montenegro, with a large number of museums, monasteries and former embassies
  • Danilovgrad — located near the famous Ostrog monastery
  • Nikšić — the second largest city in Montenegro and economically important
  • Rijeka Crnojevica — a small historical town on the ancient trading route through the country
  • Tuzi — a small town in the Podgorica municipality which is a major trading center, due to its location, between the Montenegrin capital and Albania
  • Virpazar — main entry point to the Skadar lake, belongs to the municipality of Bar
