Although there are approximately 90,000 people living here, the town center is small and compact and easy to walk around. This is where you will find most things that you need such as restaurants, accommodation, ATMs etc. Pedal powered rick-shaws can be found on all streets. For short journeys around the town expect to pay approximately 8 Pesos. For longer journeys, motorized tricycles can be found throughout the town. There is normally a line of them opposite the large park on the road to Tacloban. Price negotiated with driver before departure.
No major attractions, just a nice friendly quiet little town to relax in with some amazing caves, waterfalls nature all around. Big park to the south of town on Rizal Avenue which is the focal point in the evenings. Full of kids learning dance routines, basketball games being played on the covered courts and couples promenading.
