Capel Curig is a village in Gwynedd, popular with climbers and hillwalkers due to its location in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park. There is an important road junction here, where the A5 continues between the Glyderau and Carneddau mountain ranges to Bangor and the A4085 turns further south to Llanberis.
