Cairo is a town in Greene County in New York. It is located next to East Durham (home of one of the largest Irish festivals in New York. Cairo is a very quiet small town. There is not much to do except chill and enjoy the mountain air

• McDonald's is located near Slater's Supermarket and there is a Chinese restaurant adjacent to Slaters, but besides that there is nothing.

• There is basically nothing in Cairo except for bars. Some popular places include The Shamrock House, Blackthorne, Ace of Clubs,and Darbys

• More than anything Cairo has more hotels than they certainly need. Some great places to stay would be The Shamrock House, Michael Dee's, Furlongs, or the popular resort BlackThorne. All these hotels are located in the town of East Durham outside Cairo
