Panorama of Cadaqués

Cadaqués is a city on the Costa Brava in Catalonia, Spain.

Understand[edit]

Cadaqués is a small town on the coast of Catalonia, very near Cap de Creus. Apart from the beach interest, travellers visit it due to Salvador Dalí building a summer home in the town which is in and of itself a tourist destination. Prior to the explosive of beach tourism in Spain, Cadaqués was a sleepy fishing town, some elements of which exist to this day.

There are many local buses from Sarfa that go from Figueres to Cadaqués and organized tours. For those travelling on their own, it is easy to drive there from Figueres as well taking the C-68 in the direction of Roses and then following the signs to Cadaqués.
