Get out[edit]

Ferries[2] to Flinders Island run a couple of days a week.

The road east heads towards scenic Eddystone Point in the Mt William National Park (once you turn off the highway, the road is unsealed but in good condition), which has a decaying lighthouse and a path that leads to a stunning, quiet beach at the north end of the Bay of Fires. An unsealed road also goes south from Eddystone Point to Anson's Bay and eventually St Helens (2 hours).
