Brabrand is a city in Denmark.

Brabrand is located just 6km from the center of Aarhus.

The closest airport, Tirstrup Airport is approx. 45 minutes bus-ride north-east of Brabrand. At the airport buses arrive and leave frequently, and an one-way ticket costs approx. 80 DKK and can be purchased when entering the bus.

Get around[edit]

The municipal bus company has a number of routes around the city. Please refer to Aarhus Sporveje [1].

You may find it attractive to catch a cab. Some of these are from Aarhus Taxa [2]

  • "Brabrand sø" [4] - a large recreational lake area.
  • Brabrand Kirke - the local church with an impressive view of Brabrand Sø (Brabrand lake). The Romanesque part of the church was originally only 20 meters long. However, during the ensuing years, the church has undergone considerable rebuilding and extension work. You find the church on Engdalsvej 2, DK-8220 Brabrand

If you like soccer, the local team [6] joined the "Danmarksserien" in June 2007.
