[edit] Get in

Bolivar is remote and while the cities in the north are well-connected with the rest of the country, the southern part is very sparsely populated and has few roads.

[edit] Get around

Many areas are only reachable by airplane. Small six-seater aircraft ferry tourists heading to Angel Falls from Ciudad Bolivar to Canaima.

Route 10, however, is a paved road running down the eastern side of Bolivar that connects Venezuela with Brazil. It passes through El Callao, El Dorado, San Isidro and Santa Elena de Uairén. This route is lined by several spectacular waterfalls.
