Bhuj is a city in the Kutch district of the Gujarat region of India.

Bhuj is main city of District Kachchhh. You can reach to bhuj by many ways. From Mumbai you can catch Flight from Jet Airways or Kingfisher. There are other connection from all mejor city of gujarat . You can also reach there by Train from Mumbai. Bhuj is kind of Historical city , it has long history of King's and their Empire.

City is not big, so you can get around by many ways , you can catch auto Richshaw ( its rented vehicle like taxi but small ) , but if you can afford you can hire guide with his vehicle. Need to bargain with them as they will charge higher if they see you are new person there. so try to negotiate rate. if you have good time you can have a bicycle and roam around city.

you can buy tons of things from bhuj. Its mostly famous from its handicrafts. you can get variety of clothes and other things having this kind of art work. And ya dont forget to buy sweets . There are many sweet shops but my favorite is Khavada . it has branches at many place in bhuj . you can ask anyone and they will give you information.

Most of eating place you will find in Bhuj is Vegetarian. But if you like to have non veg then you need to find place. Either you will get in big hotel or outskirt of city. There are many good restaurnts liek Neelam, KBN , Anando , Green Rock. But my favorite is Kachchhi Dabeli available everywhere. you can enjoy near bus station. its kinda spicy and delicious.

if you are are alcoholic then you need to get license to have liquor. So please be aware that Whole Gujarat is no alcohol zone. But better you enjoy local drinks. You can have butter milk made from curd. you can also enjoy locally available milk.
