Bellapais, Northern Cyprus, is known for its ancient monastery, which consists of picturesque ruins with great Gothic arches and towering stone walls.

There are several restaurants and bars near the ruins. A little bit more expensive than smaller restaurants down in the villages, but it can't be missed. After your meal, you can walk through the grounds admiring the scenery of the monastery. Go at sunset for a breathtaking view!
