Barlow is a small agricultural town in Foster County, in the north central area of North Dakota. It has a population of about 40 people. Coordinates are latitude 47.57 N and longitude 99.14 W.

Barlow, a catle area, was named for the town founder, Frederick Barlow, who owned the genral store and post office around 1884.

- By car: from exit 256 off I-94, take US-281 north for approximately 52 miles. Barlow is about 45 miles south of Devils Lake.
