Jump to: navigation, search

Ban Sen is an island in Ha Long Bay, Vietnam.

Understand[edit]

Thickly forested, the island is sparsely inhabited and is probably not a viable destination for anything except quick part-day visits.

Get in[edit]

It's possible to access the northern and north-eastern parts of the island by negotiation with the captain of the slow ferry that runs between Cai Rong and Quan Lan.

Get around[edit]

There are basically no roads on the island, so your options are either trekking or circumnavigation by water vessel.

See and do[edit]

Explore the forest and nature.

Buy[edit][add listing]

There are no shops at all!

Eat and drink[edit]

No facilities.

Sleep[edit][add listing]

No facilities.

Contact[edit]

No facilities, though mobile phone reception should work at least on the eastern side of the island, from neighbouring Quan Lan.

Get out[edit]

Slow ferries visit the north-eastern side of the island from Cai Rong.
