Avila Beach is a town in San Luis Obispo County in the Central Coast region of California.

Avila Beach is relatively remote, and only accessible by car. Just off Highway 101, south of San Luis Obispo, it is well worth the trip.

Once you get there, Avila is small enough to see on foot.
