Atttingal is a city in Kerala, India. Attingal is the second biggest city in Trivandrum district. It is the headquarters of Chyrinkil taluk. It is the main stop between Trivandrum and Quilon(Kollam). Vamanapuram/ Attingal/ Poovampara river and Mamom river mark the north and south boundaries respectively. Attingal is a modern town with all modern amenities. Attingal palace was the home of many erstwhie Travancore rulers. Chyrinkil and Varkala are nearby railroads.
