Fairlie-Poplar is a subdiscrict of Downtown Atlanta. The name refers to the intersection of Fairlie and Poplar Streets. This is a historical district with Neoclassical, Art Deco, and Chicago style architecture constructed in the late 19th century/early 20th century.

  • Flatiron Building, land mark of the district. A historical building shaped like a flatiron.
  • Woodruff Park, nearby across Peachtree St., has fountains and a famous bronze statue of a girl releasing a pheonix, symbolic of Atlanta rising from the ashes after the Civil War.
