Asikkala

Asikkala is situated in Southern Finland, Päijät-Häme region approximately 25 km from city of Lahti and 125 km from city of Helsinki.

During the summer the most popular place to visit is the Vääksy canal region and its small shops and cafés. Asikkala is surrounded by two lakes, Lake Vesijärvi and Lake Päijänne which is the second largest in Finland. Beautiful lake scenery creates great setting for holidays.

By plane

Helsinki -Vantaa Airport[1] is situated approximately 125 km from Asikkala. Most European airlines have daily connections to Helsinki -Vantaa and from there you can take a bus Lahti and / or Asikkala.

The nearest train station is situated in Lahti, approximately 25 km from Asikkala.
