Ansó

From Wikitravel

Jump to: navigation, search

Ansó is a village in Aragon in the Valles de Echo and Ansó in the Spanish Pyrenees. The village is tiny but very pretty with its stone houses and views of the mountains around. It is also a great base for exploring the mountains and villages in the valley.

[edit] Get in

It is best to have your own transport (see Get around) but there is one bus a day to and from Jaca.

[edit] Get around

Best to have your own transport. The area is pretty and well suited for some strenuous biking but no local rentals are available.

  • Posada Magoria, Calle Milagros, 32, 974 370049 (). Lovely inn in a stone house. Only vegetarian food, with Indian accents, is served by the indophile owner who commutes between Goa and Ansó.  edit
