Ambarawa is a small town in Central Java.

Ambarawa is a small hilly town located about 14 km from Salatiga, Central Java, on the crossroads between major towns and cities: Semarang--Magelang and Semarang -- Solo.

By train, car and bus. There is a large bus station around the intersection connecting the Semarang-Solo road to Ambarawa - Magelang road.
