Aluva is a town in Cochin /Ernakulam District. It is situated in the banks of Periyar river, Kerala's largest river.Periyar is also known as 'Aluva puzha'.Its also home to the twin Marthanda Varma bridge and Shivarathri Manalpuram.Situated about twenty kilometers from the city its Kochi's most important suburb dwelling.
