Alicante is the southern province of the Valencia region (Comunidad Valenciana) in Spain. It is mainly touristic(Benidorm) although it has some important shoe and toy industry. Main language:Valencian;other languages:Catalan,Spanish(Castillan).

Using the international airport in Alicante (ALC).Alacante in it`s regional language. The airport is relativally close to the ciutat(city) of Alacante,beaches in Costa Blanca,such as Benidorm.

Trains coming from Madrid (Altaria) and Barcelona and Valencia (Euromed). It also has a picturesque (and slow) train coming from Denia and going by the coast until Alicante.

Many buses come from almost every big city in Spain. The main bus station is located in the center of Alicante.

Use the AP-7 highway if you come from the coast (Valencia or Barcelona). There is also a highway coming from Madrid and another from Murcia.
